Controlling Sound Level

Currently the louvres in the bell tower are completely open and permit the sound of the bells to pass into the surrounds unabated. This is good for the bells to be heard in the distance but not so good for people living very close by. By installing a sound control system the openings in the louvres may be closed and the sound level reduced. This will be of particular benefit to residents living in Church Street and The Crescent.
